This is the FINAL week of the regular season. Below are the details for this year’s playoffs. Most are familiar but I wanted to get everything out in one document.

Top 16 in regular season points are eligible for the playoffs (http://www.spicewoodgolfleague.com/standings.html)
If you don’t want to play, or can’t make it, let me know and i’ll offer the spot to the next person on the list
Playoff “entry fee” is $30 per player
This builds the prize pool, payouts are listed below. Please pay by August 4th.

Official League rounds will be the four Friday’s in August (4th, 11th, 18th, & the finals will be 8/25).
Please try to make the Friday round but if you can’t due to work or vacation you are allowed to play from the Saturday before to the Thursday after the round. You just have to play with another league member to verify your score.
Tee Times will shift back to the 4:40 start time in August
The rotation will be RD1-Pines; RD2-Cove; RD3-Pines; FINALS-Pines

The format is cumulative NET score similar to last year. Your scores will add up over the 4 weeks of play, the lowest net wins the championship.
The top 10 players (from the regular season) will start the playoffs with a small stroke advantage. 1 will start at -1.0, 2 will start at -0.9, 3 will start at -0.8, etc. Everyone else starts at even. This is a modified version of what the PGA Tour does.
After the first 2 rounds the highest 8 scores will be eliminated/cut.

The league will still be open to anyone not making the playoffs and guests so continue to sign up if you’d like to play.
I will release the sign-ups for all 4 weeks on Monday, July 31st so you can respond for all 4 weeks at once if you’d like.
